Information, from boundary to rights

Introduction

This policy explains how AITECHIS International Holding ("AITECHIS", "we", "us"), based in Beirut, Lebanon, handles information in connection with the website at aitechis-intl.com (the "website").

We aim to collect only what we need to respond to you, to use it for that purpose, and to be clear about the providers involved. The policy covers the website and the project inquiry form. It does not cover services we may provide under a separate agreement, which will have their own terms.

For company / counsel reviewFactual: the registered legal entity (full legal name, legal form, registration number, jurisdiction of incorporation, registered office) and the entity that acts as data controller.

Information we collect

We collect information in two ways: information you choose to give us, mainly through the inquiry form, and limited technical information that is necessary to deliver and protect the website.

The website does not ask you to create an account, does not sell anything online, and does not currently use advertising, analytics or social-media tracking tools. Its fonts are served from our own website rather than a third-party font service.

If you choose to use the live chat, the information you share in it is also collected, as described in Live chat below and in Technical information.

Information you provide through the contact form

When you submit a project inquiry, we receive the information you enter:

  • Required: full name, business email address, company or organization, the type of help you are looking for, and a description of your project or question.
  • Optional: role or position, phone number, company website, budget range, expected timeline, and how you heard about AITECHIS.

Please do not include passwords, access credentials, or confidential or sensitive personal data in the form. If something sensitive is needed later, we will arrange an appropriate channel.

The form also contains a hidden field used only to filter automated spam, and a security check, Cloudflare Turnstile (see Technical information), helps confirm that a person, not an automated script, is submitting the form.

Live chat. The website offers a live-chat window provided by tawk.to, a third-party service; it is not operated by AITECHIS. When you open and use the chat, tawk.to may process:

  • the messages you send and receive in the chat;
  • your name, email address or other contact details, if you choose to provide them;
  • technical and device information associated with your use of the chat service;
  • cookies or similar technologies used by the chat widget.

The chat does not load until you press the Live chat button; pressing it is treated as your request to load the chat service. Our team uses chat messages to answer you, in the same way as other inquiries. Please do not share passwords, access credentials or highly confidential information in the chat. tawk.to processes this information under its own privacy policy and terms.

Technical information

Like any website, ours cannot be delivered without some technical data. Cloudflare hosts and delivers the website, runs its server functions and provides its security and network protection. When you visit, Cloudflare processes technical request and security information, such as your IP address, browser and device type, the pages requested and the time of the request, as necessary to provide those services.

Inquiry form submissions are checked by a server function on the same infrastructure and delivered to our team by email through Resend, our email delivery provider. The website does not keep a separate database or CRM copy of your inquiry; the resulting email is kept in our mailbox, and the email services involved in delivering it may also retain copies. Cloudflare Turnstile is used solely to help protect the contact form against automated abuse; it processes technical signals from your browser and device for that purpose and is not used for advertising or marketing.

The website itself does not set advertising or analytics cookies. Security features of our provider may use strictly necessary technical cookies or similar signals.

The live-chat widget is not loaded when you visit the website. It is loaded from tawk.to only when you choose to open the live chat, and then again on later pages in the same browser tab so that an ongoing conversation is not lost. Loading it connects your browser to tawk.to’s servers, which receive technical information such as your IP address and browser details, and the widget may set cookies or use similar browser storage to operate the chat. Until you open the chat, no tawk.to content is loaded and no tawk.to cookies are set. When you open it, the website also keeps a small flag in your browser for the current tab, containing no personal information, so that the chat continues on later pages; it is removed when the tab is closed.

How we use information

  • To review your inquiry and respond to you or your business.
  • To evaluate potential services or project discussions arising from your inquiry.
  • To maintain the correspondence necessary in relation to your inquiry.
  • To operate, secure and protect the website and the inquiry form, including preventing spam and abuse.
  • To comply with legal obligations that apply to us.

We do not use information from the inquiry form or the live chat for advertising, profiling or unrelated marketing. AITECHIS does not sell personal information submitted through the website.

Why we are allowed to use it

We use information where it is needed to respond to a request you have made, where we have a legitimate business interest in operating and protecting our website and in responding to business inquiries, and where the law requires us to.

For company / counsel reviewCounsel: the applicable data-protection law(s) and the exact legal-basis wording, including whether pressing the Live chat button (which management treats as an intentional request to load the chat) meets any statutory consent requirement for the cookies and storage tawk.to then uses.

Sharing and service providers

We share information only with providers who help us run the website and handle inquiries, and only to the extent they need it:

  • Cloudflare: website hosting and delivery, security and network protection, server functions (Cloudflare Pages and Pages Functions) and the Turnstile anti-abuse check.
  • Resend: our transactional email delivery provider, which delivers inquiry form submissions to our team.
  • Our email hosting provider, which stores the inquiry emails we receive.
  • tawk.to: the live-chat service, which receives chat messages and the information you provide in the chat, together with technical information from the chat widget.

We may also disclose information where required by law, or to protect our rights, our users or the public. If AITECHIS is reorganized or its business transferred, information may pass to the successor under the same protections.

Security

The website is served over encrypted connections (HTTPS). The inquiry form validates what it receives, rejects oversized or malformed submissions, and is designed so that provider credentials stay on the server and never reach your browser.

No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to protect the information you share with us and to limit who can access it.

Data retention

We keep inquiry correspondence only as long as reasonably necessary to respond to your inquiry, to evaluate a proposed engagement, for legitimate business record-keeping, and to meet legal or accounting obligations where they apply.

International processing

The third-party technology and service providers we use may process information in countries other than your own, subject to applicable legal requirements and the providers’ own arrangements.

Your choices and rights

You can choose not to provide optional information, and you can decide not to use the form at all. Depending on where you live, you may also have the right to ask us for access to your information, to correct or delete it, to restrict or object to certain uses, or to receive a copy of it.

To make a request, email [email protected]. Requests are handled in accordance with applicable law, and we may need to confirm your identity before acting on one. If you are not satisfied with our response, you may be able to complain to your local data-protection authority.

Children’s privacy

The website and the inquiry form are intended for business visitors. They are not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect information from children.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the website or our practices change. The date at the top shows when it was last updated. Significant changes will be made clear on this page.
